Chicken Ramen Bowl

Tender diced chicken served over ramen noodles, cilantro, carrots, spinach, and scallions in a ramen broth.

Ingredients

  • 1 case
    Gold Kist Natural Dark Meat Strips
  • 1 case
    Whole wheat noodles
  • 7 gal
    No salt added chicken broth
  • 3 c
    Low sodium tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 c
    Mirin
  • 2 each
    Whole onions (quartered to simmer in broth)
  • 5 c
    Cloves garlic (to simmer in broth)
  • 5 lb
    Cilantro
  • 5 oz
    Green onion
  • 10 lb
    Carrots (peeled and shredded)
  • 10 lb
    Spinach (or any leafy green)

Method

  1. Prepare the noodles as directed.

  2. Prepare the Gold Kist® as directed on box and hold at 140°F.

  3. Heat broth to simmer, add soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and onion.

  4. Serve 1/3 ramen square of noodles, #4 spoodle chicken, 1 cup broth, garnish with chopped cilantro and green onion, carrots and spinach.
